The Burger That Started It All
At Next Door, we became accidentally famous for our burgers. People wouldn’t stop asking for them. Even when we were pushing Branzino and truffle gnocchi. So we thought… maybe it’s time.

The Quest Begins
We already had four hits: Next Door. Dr. Sandwich. Salam Tak Catering. The Bazaar Shabbat Market. But now we needed a home just for the burger. A spot with funk. With flavor. With attitude. Chef Adir Cohen and Liyad Ichiye found a location. They weren’t quite sold. But Chef Guy Balulu? He had a feeling. We signed the papers. It was ours.

The Great Naming Crisis
We gathered around: notes app, wine, maybe some screaming. Over 100 names. None of them were it. Then suddenly… the back door swings open. Light pours in through the corridor. We freeze. Corridor. That’s the name. Still, something felt missing…

It Was Meant to Be
We glance up. The address: 8532 W Pico Blvd. 8+5+3+2 = 18 Chai. Life. It was fate. Corridor 18 was born.

Cue the Funk (Branding)
We went full throttle. Turned the space somewhere between a 1970s wonderland and a modern place to be. Disco balls. Posters. Bold patterns. Neon energy. No fake nostalgia. Just full flavor and good vibes. We spared no creativity. From the hats and merch to the iconic walk through the Corridor itself, every detail was designed to turn heads. Even the burger boxes are something to talk about. We created a kosher burger joint with way too much personality.

The Doors Open
After months of sauce testing, bun debating, and perfecting the patty mix… Corridor 18 officially opened its doors. Pico-Robertson met its new burger obsession. Lines out the door. Clean plates everywhere. A few happy tears. The Burger Club was real. And we’re just getting started.
